Bushfires are still burning and we have had the worst fire risk day since Black Saturday. Hopefully we are now moving away from the fire season and toward Autumn. With luck we will receive a good amount of rain to help our very dry state.

Runner’s Relief – the run you can be a part of to help raise money for the Victorian bushfire appeal.
Many sporting and other communities have rallied to the cause for those affected by the recent Victorian bushfires and now is the chance for the running community to show its support.
On Friday, 27 February Start to Finish Events is organising a one lap, 4km run from Federation Square around the Yarra River, starting at 7pm. The cost to enter is $30 for adults and $20 for children with all the entry money collected going to the Red Cross appeal.
You can only enter online before the day or enter on the night from 5pm at Fed Square.

Victoria suffered temperatures that will go into the record books. With the temperatures and high winds fires swept across Victoria out of control, property destroyed and over 65 lives lost, so far… What can I say except that out thoughts are with you all.
